Encourageing News from CHMC

It sounds like Grace is a very busy girl in her new digs at Children's. The rehab regime sounds like it is up and running. This small girl has the strength of a lion and is such a fighter. I am go glad for the change in environment and so many positive care providers surrounding Grace. We all know there will be hurdles, but Grace, with the help of God and many prayer warriors, is able to clear those hurdles.

There is a story in the Enquirer today of an 8 year old boy who will be having surgery to relieve a problem that he has suffered with for some time. Because of his stays in many hospitals he decided to raise money to help other kids in the hospital. This young man, with the help of his mother, presented Children's Hospital Guest Services with a check for $500 yesterday. He wants to grow up to be a surgeon and operate on patients even if they can't pay. Mom said,"It started as a journey of his physical heart but, four years later, it is a journey of his spiritual heart."

This prayer was on Joel Osteen's website a day or two ago:
Father in heaven, thank You for Your faithfulness to me. Thank You for giving me strength during difficult times. I trust that You are with me today and choose to focus on the victory you have in store. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Focus on Victory today. For Grace and the young boy, also at Children's Hospital.
Heck, we could all use a Victory today !

Remember fund raiser starts next week. Important Information Coming!
