Saturday at The Lord's Pantry

Today my small group went to the inner city to pass out sandwiches and coffee, etc. to people in Over the Rhine and the homeless. It was the first time I have participated in an effort of this nature. Every one was friendly and enjoyed us being there. Every one was very polite and most were talkative. I will definitely participate again if the opportunity presents itself.

I took a day off from my blog yesterday. I worked all day and then helped prepare food for our service project. My husband let me know that he was feeling like a bachelor again.I feel a little guilty about all I am doing but he is free to get on board any time.

My daughter is the busy mother of a active toddler and has not been able to complete a link from my blog to a web page explaining the first fund raiser for Grace. I am hoping that I can include it on Monday. If you do not want to wait, email me at pam.d.curran@gmail.com and I will send you an attachment. The document will explain how you can participate in the fund raiser.

I have been planning a fun game to play with Grace when I visit her at the hospital. I am going to try it out with Niko when I baby sit on Monday. I have also been thinking about what books from my grandchildren's library (I have a special shelf of books at my house)to read to Grace. I am trying to collect children's books by local authors and illustrators. Louise Borden is one of my favorites. She has a lot of things framed at the shop where I work and if you do not know her work, check her out on Amazon. Thanks for reading and pray for complete healing for Grace.
