Today is a busy day for Mimi. I take care of my grandson, 18 month old, very active toddler, Niko. We are going to the grocery to get ingredients for dinner for Grace's family. Then I thought I would introduce Niko to the joy of making cupcakes(also for the family). I think I have grown in patience since my own were Niko's age, I would not have attempted this then and may not ever again. :)
I want to share a couple of things with you today. I have five grandchildren, all with unique personalities. Four are grandsons and one granddaughter. They are 11, 10, 6, 5 and 18 months. For anyone who has not experienced grandparenting yet, it is the best part of my life.
Yesterday, while on hold with Warner Cable(for 45 minutes)I had an opportunity to converse with a customer service rep. named Kelly. She shared a moving experience relating to the power of God in her life. Our conversation concluded with me promising to pray for her and her many grandchildren and specificaly her daughter in law, Jessica. Jessica recently lost sight in one eye due to White Spot Disease. Kelly will also be praying for Grace and her family. I must admit it was one of most enjoyable Warner Cable experiences I have had. Isn't God wonderful!!!
When I finally got to work, (yes I was a few minutes late because of above conversation) one of my co-workers had left me a note with cash in it for Grace. Another blessing!!!
A local church has provided my Motherless Daughter friend, Glo, with three easter baskets for Grace and her two brothers. Glo and I will deliver those tonight along with dinner and the cash I have received. Glo, an attorney by trade, continues to research federal student loan forgiveness for the family and I am praying she has success.
I hear my Sunshine (Niko) on the baby moniter so my day begins. Have a wonderful day filled with blessings and prayer.

I love how special Bouli is to you! He is my sunshine, too! Again, I love reading your thoughts and feelings. It really does inspire me to slow down and listen to my own thoughts. More prayers for Grace and her family!
